Meisho Yedo Hiakkei. The Hundred Views of Yedo, Famous Places. 119 sheets in album with MS. preface (five pages, dated for 18 July, 1860), 14 1/8 by 9¾ (including margins). 1856-1859. Publisher, Uwoya Yeikichi, Shitaya, Yedo (Uwoyei). Ōban Tateye.

The complete series (except title-page) by Hiroshige I, as issued in 1858 (or early in 1859), together with the new print (No. 19) by Hiroshige II substituted for No. 18 (original No. 48) in a later edition. The oval dateseals in the top or left margin of each print indicate that the blocks were cut between March, 1856, and November, 1858 - that for the substitute print in July, 1859. In the list of contents included in the title-page, the prints are arranged according to the seasons: thus, Spring, original Nos. 1-42, Summer 43-72, Autumn 73-95, Winter 96-118. [In the descriptions following, the original series numbers are given in square brackets.]
